Curzon Hall, Sydney's Elegant function centre is a magnificent sandstone manor set upon two acres of manicured gardens and is located just 20 minutes from the centre of Sydney. Often referred as "The Castle", because of its handsome square turret, Curzon Hall is truly an oasis of historic charm.
Completed in 1900 as a private residence for Sydney Harry Smith and his wife Isabella Curzon Webb (a relative of Lord Curzon, then Viceroy of India), Curzon Hall originally consisted of a mansion, stables, separate ballroom with viewing gallery and an open promenade with extensive gardens. In 1922, Curzon Hall was purchased by the Vincentian Fathers and became a seminary for the Catholic Church. Stone from a demolished stable was used to construct the beautiful chapel that still stands attached to the mansion and is now used as the magnificent Banquet Room.
In 1983, Curzon Hall became a private business enterprise and after extensive renovations and refurbishments it has become truly one of Sydneys most elegant and unique function centres.
In 2005, Curzon Hall was acquired under the Navarra Venue Collection, which also successfully operates Le Montage, Lilyfield and Conca D'oro, Riverwood.
